strong structure

IMG_0184Our ArtBreak studio was given some nifty cardboard and paper packing materials which were quickly converted to robots. The children discovered how sturdy the materials were and peeled back the thin cardboard to explore.

We found an interior truss-like structure strong enough to hold up a fourth grader. The children wondered if it would be strong enough to hold me (the largest person in the room) up. Holding my breath I stood on the little platform and it held! We all had new respect for the power of paper.
